Micah Parsons was just handed the perfect motivation to absolutely destroy the Browns

The Green Bay Packers will go on the road for the first time this season in Week 3, facing off against the Cleveland Browns. The Packers are 2-0, and clearly feeling good about how well they’ve been playing, while the Browns are 0-2 and seemingly on the verge of unraveling. Cleveland’s defense could provide a challenge, but Green Bay should win this game.

Winning, of course, is priority No. 1, but there are also some other narratives that could be changed in Sunday’s game. One of the storylines that will be on display is Micah Parsons and Myles Garrett taking turns showcasing their dominance on the field.

Much like highly-anticipated quarterback matchups, Parsons and Garrett won’t go head-to-head, but viewers will be comparing to see who’s the more dominant game wrecker.

The comparisons between the two have already started, with analysts on First Take recently debating who was the more impactful defensive star. Former NFL player Ryan Clark argued the answer is Myles Garrett, and said it isn’t even close. On Sunday, Parsons will have the opportunity to prove Clark wrong, as the two dominant edge defenders share a field.

Ryan Clark argues Myles Garrett is more dominant than Micah Parsons ahead of Week 3 matchup

"Myles Garrett is the most non-quarterback in football," said Clark.

Clark didn’t just stop at saying Garrett was better than Parsons, but he made a case for the Browns defender being the most dominant non-quarterback in football.

The analyst explained how Garrett has the size and athleticism to line up all over the field, and how he consistently wrecks games. The only reason Clark thinks it’s even a question is that Garrett has been toiling away in Cleveland.

Parsons, of course, is a competitor, and while he won’t be directly challenging Garrett, he can be the most dominant player in the game. Garrett will certainly be looking to put on a show as the Browns search for their first win, and Parsons will be able to send a message as well.
