What's better than one Micah? Two Micahs.
The Green Bay Packers' stunning Micah Parsons trade sent shockwaves through the football world and plunged NFC North fans into meltdown. Adding one Micah felt so nice, the Packers did it twice.
Hours before Parsons' introduction at Lambeau Field, the Packers quietly re-signed seventh-round rookie Micah Robinson to the practice squad.
Packers make another smart move to bring back Micah Robinson
Now that the Packers have an embarrassment of riches at edge-rusher, attention shifts to the cornerback room. The Packers may need Robinson, who enjoyed an impressive first training camp, to play meaningful snaps this year.
Robinson played in all three games, earning a solid Pro Football Focus coverage grade of 64.4. Per PFF, on 56 coverage snaps, the rookie allowed only one catch on two targets for 12 yards.
Free-agent addition Nate Hobbs remains sidelined, although he is hopeful to return for Week 1, while the Packers also have Keisean Nixon and Carrington Valentine.

Green Bay's depth has come into question. Receiver-turned-cornerback Bo Melton is the presumed CB4 entering the season, an incredible accomplishment so soon after switching positions. Beyond him, the Packers only have the inexperienced Kamal Hadden on the 53-man roster after surprisingly releasing second-year Kalen King and veteran Corey Ballentine.
Robinson may not spend too long on the practice squad. The Packers may need to lean on their cornerback depth, which could result in up to three gameday callups or a full-on promotion to the 53-man roster, if needs be.
Micah Parsons is the Packers' pass-rush savior. Maybe Micah Robinson will do the same at cornerback?
OK, we'll pump the brakes there, but Robinson did enjoy a strong summer that slipped under the radar. In time, he can become a valuable addition to the Packers' roster just as Valentine, another seventh-round pick, has done.
The Packers now have two Micahs. Is it time for a Micah Hyde reunion?
