Just when you thought the weekend couldn't get any worse for Green Bay Packers fans. After losing Jordan Love for multiple weeks, they are now reminded how good Aaron Jones is.

Josh Jacobs showed enough signs of his All-Pro best in his Packers debut, but not before making a slow start. Jones, meanwhile, has made the perfect start to his Minnesota Vikings career.

Jones only took two drives to find the end zone for the first time, a 3-yard rush to put the Vikings ahead against the New York Giants. It was always going to be hard to watch Jones wear Vikings purple, especially with highlight-reel moments like this.

Packers fans still wonder whether Josh Jacobs is an upgrade over Aaron Jones

The Packers move forward with Josh Jacobs, but fans are still wondering whether it was the right decision. At halftime of Green Bay's season opener, Jacobs had rushed six times for just four yards. Poor run-blocking didn't help, but Emanuel Wilson had outplayed him with three carries for 37 yards.

Jacobs improved in the second half, taking his next 10 carries for 80 yards, reminding the NFL why he was the 2022 rushing champion.

But the Jacobs-Jones comparisons will continue all season. Jones was perfect for Matt LaFleur's offense, and his strong finish to last year helped Green Bay's offense dominate.

It's still early in the Vikings' season opener, but Jones has already made an impact. He is splitting carries with Ty Chandler, but there's no doubt his arrival is huge for Minnesota's offense.

Packers fans wish Jones well while also not enjoying watching him play for the Vikings. And many still believe he is a better option than Jacobs in LaFleur's offense. Only time will tell, but Jones' Vikings debut has already been heartbreaking for Packers fans.
