The wide receiver position has gotten a major makeover for the Green Bay Packers over the last 18 months, and while it's one of the youngest groups in the league, it's also one of the most talented. The Packers will enter the 2023 season with, at best, the oldest player being a 25-year-old second-year player in Samori Toure.

It's a young group that will need to grow up quickly for first-year starting quarterback Jordan Love. Luckily, we have already seen some subsantial signs from both these young receivers and Love himself that everything is going to work out just fine.

But what will the Packers' depth chart at wide receiver look like this coming season with no more Allen Lazard? Let's take a look.

Breaking down the Green Bay Packers WR depth chart in 2023

The starters: Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs

The star of last year's preseason and training camp for the Green Bay Packers was obviously wide receiver Romeo Doubs, who came into the NFL as a fourth-round pick with big-time vertical speed and playmaking ability. All of that preseason hype last year led to Doubs catching a respectable 42 passes in his rookie season for over 400 yards and three touchdowns.

The majority of his production came within the first two months of the season, however, and I don't think Doubs lived up to the expectations he created for himself in training camp and preseason games. Christian Watson, on the complete opposite end of the spectrum, looked like he might end up being a huge disappointment as a rookie before absolutely exploding out of nowhere in the month of November.

Now, Doubs and Watson are going to be counted on to lead this Packers WR group in 2023. So far, it looks like the Packers are going to be able to do just that...

Of course, there is some projection being done here. The Packers need some type of linear development from both Watson and Doubs for their offense to, in the eyes of many, perhaps overachieve in 2023. These two certainly have the talent to get it done.
