The Green Bay Packers have an embarrassment of riches at the wide receiver position, with four pass-catchers in the mix to lead the team in targets this season.

Romeo Doubs continues to impress on the practice field, earning high praise from All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander. Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, and Dontayvion Wicks will also play a significant role in Matt LaFleur's offense.

Bo Melton's work at the backend of last season may already be enough to earn him a roster spot, and his chances increased after Matt LaFleur's comments earlier this offseason. LaFleur said Melton "brings so much value" to the Packers' offense.

It may seem that Green Bay's receiving corps is set. The only question is whether Malik Heath makes the roster as the WR6. Right?

Wrong. The Packers have yet another impressive young receiver aiming to make the roster.

Don't forget about Grant DuBose, who has a chance to make Packers 53-man roster

Green Bay drafted three wide receivers last year, which is easy to forget after watching the brilliance of Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks. Seventh-rounder Grant DuBose has missed time due to injury, but he is making the most of his opportunities at training camp.

Cheesehead TV's Aaron Nagler said "DuBose is making a play every day." That's the path to making the 53-man roster, just as Malik Heath did last summer. We often hear about "stacking success." Making a big play here and there is one thing, but to do it every day sets you apart from others on the roster bubble. DuBose is doing that.

"Grant DuBose catching everything this camp. Defense jumps and Clifford throws a tight deep ball to connect for 42 yards," Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official website wrote during Wednesday's practice.

And he isn't just wowing those in attendance with his pass-catching. DuBose has also made good blocks and is contributing on special teams.

He has laid the foundations. With preseason around the corner, DuBose has a huge opportunity ahead. If he can deliver in these exhibition games and continue to make plays at practice, the Packers may have no choice but to make room for him on the 53-man roster.
