Can the Green Bay Packers pick up where Aaron Rodgers left off against the Chicago Bears in Week 1 of the 2023 NFL season? Rodgers notoriously stated that he 'owns' the Chicago Bears, and he's right. He was 24-5 over the course of his career against the Bears with a whopping 64 touchdown passes to only 10 interceptions in those games.

Now that Rodgers is gone, however, it's up to Jordan Love and this young offense to keep the Packers' success against Chicago going strong. But can they do it? What are Green Bay's biggest advantages in Week 1, and what are their biggest weaknesses?

Let's take a look at three reasons the Packers will beat the Bears in Chicago on Sunday and two reasons they might fall short.

Packers will win if Jordan Love balls out

We're all eagerly anticipating the regular season debut in 2023 of Packers quarterback Jordan Love. Love, a first-round pick in 2020, has been waiting in the wings now for three full seasons, biding his time and mastering the Matt LaFleur offense behind the scenes.

Now, we will get to see if the physical talent and mental reps have all come together to equal sustainable regular season success. The Green Bay Packers have been on an unprecedented run of incredible quarterback play, so the pressure is on Love to carry that mantle.

If Love can ball out against the Chicago Bears, it's hard to see the Packers losing this game. Could the Bears get into a shootout? Absolutely, they lost a number of them last season, but Green Bay's defense should be able to win if the Packers put up 27 or more points.
