Standout: Devonte Wyatt

Another day, another impressive practice from second-year defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt. The Packers' defensive line is showing early signs of being dominant this season, which would be a major upgrade over last year.

"Another impressive rep from Devonte Wyatt today. After showing off his power Tuesday, beat Jon Runyan with a wicked spin move today," writes Ryan Wood.

The potential for a breakout second season is evident. Wyatt is stacking success at practice. He can become a significant contributor for the Packers' defense this season, offering a ton of potential as an interior pass rusher.

Dud: The defense

Wyatt continues to impress, but the Packers' defense took their first loss of training camp against the offense on Thursday.

At the end of each practice, the "losing" side of the ball has to do up-downs. Before today, the defense had won every battle, forcing the offensive players to do up-downs. Finally, the offense got the victory.

There weren't too many negative takeaways from Thursday's practice. Overall, there were more good updates than bad. It's great to see the offense finally get a victory, and it will be interesting to see how the defense responds throughout the rest of the week, including at Family Night on Saturday.
