Packers' division odds soaring after adding Josh Jacobs, offseason moves
The Green Bay Packers have made some positive moves through the first week of free agency. Most notably, they let go of Aaron Jones and signed Josh Jacobs to replace him at running back. They also signed one of the best safetys in the league in Xavier McKinney to a four-year deal.
As a result, oddsmakers are starting to believe in the Packers to dethrone the Detroit Lions atop the NFC North.

Earlier this month, the Packers were listed at +230 to win the NFC North. Since the start of free agency, the odds have shifted to +210, which is where they sit as of writing this article.
At +210 odds, they now have a 32.26% implied probability of winning the division. That's an almost 2% increase in their chances of winning the division from a few weeks ago.
Part of the reason for the shift has been due to smart signings by the Packers, but another reason has been the Vikings unable to hold on to their quarterback, Kirk Cousins, who signed with the Atlanta Falcons. As a result, the Vikings are now long shots to be competitive in the NFC North in 2024.

When it comes to the NFC as a whole, the Packers have the fourth best odds to win the conference and represent it in Super Bowl 59. Only the 49ers, Lions, Cowboys and Eagles have better odds.
At +1000, the Packers have a 9.09% chance of winning the NFC Championship next season.

When it comes to winning it all and lifting the Vince Lombardi Trophy, the Packers' odds are set at +2200, which is tied for the 10th best odds in the NFL alongside the Miami Dolphins. +2200 odds give them an implied probability of 4.35%.
