The Green Bay Packers have already been extremely bold this offseason. Why should we expect anything less than fireworks during the 2024 NFL Draft?

The Packers have made huge trades the last couple of years, sending Aaron Rodgers to the Jets last year and Davante Adams to the Raiders the year before that. What kind of blockbuster could be in store for them during the 2024 NFL Draft? Are we going to see more key players traded away for Green Bay?

The Packers have 11 picks in the 2024 NFL Draft already, so they aren't going to be desperate to get rid of anyone, but if the right offer comes along, you just never know. Here are some names to watch for during draft weekend.

1. Christian Watson, WR

Realistically speaking, are the Green Bay Packers going to trade Christian Watson? Maybe not, but there are a few pretty easy justifications for it.

First off, Watson hasn't exactly lived up to the billing at this point as a consistent WR1 type. The Packers traded up to get him in 2022 and he hasn't been consistently available, though he's been highly productive in the opportunities he's gotten. His 12 receiving touchdowns over the last two seasons are more than anyone else who arrived to the NFL in 2022.

With that said, what's the best-case scenario with Watson? He goes out this year, has an incredible season, and the Packers are in a position to potentially have to pay him next offseason. Worst-case scenario? Watson struggles with injuries again this year and his value next offseason is crushed. The Packers could get decent value for Watson now, perhaps even including him in a player-for-player trade (Tee Higgins?). They could pay a "sure thing" in Higgins and let someone else deal with the wild card that is Watson.

The Packers will understandably still have faith in Watson and aren't likely to do this, but they could easily justify it given his health struggles so far as a pro.
