Ranking Jordan Love among every quarterback on Packers 2024 schedule
10. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears
The #1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft is joining the NFC North, and the Packers will have to face Caleb Williams twice a year for the foreseeable future. Williams's 2023 season at USC was not nearly as good as his 2022 campaign, but he's still going to be one of the toughest players on Green Bay's schedule at QB. There's always a chance of a Bryce Young-like rookie year from him, but Williams is entering a much better situation in Chicago.
9. Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
The former #1 overall pick out of Clemson seemed to take a massive leap forward in 2022 and then a couple of steps back this past season. He had some injuries, which could explain his lack of overall efficiency, but Lawrence should be expected to bounce back this year thanks to an upgraded defense keeping the pressure off of him a little bit.
8. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
After he missed a bunch of time last year, it's easy to forget just how dynamic Kyler Murray is at the quarterback position. But if he's fully healthy in 2024, he should be expected to be back to his best. The Packers will have their hands full when they take on Murray and the Cardinals. He's an elite dual-threat and he's now got the best non-QB from the 2024 rookie class -- Marvin Harrison Jr. -- to throw passes to.
7. Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
The Packers get to play Tua Tagovailoa late in the 2024 season, with the Dolphins coming to Lambeau Field on Thanksgiving night. It seems like he starts each year hot and ends on a bad note. The way Tagovailoa plays late in the year is frankly the only reason why he's not in the top three of this kind of list. Early on in the season, Tagovailoa has been deadly and one of the most accurate quarterbacks in the NFL. And as long as his weapons are healthy, he's going to have one of the easier jobs among QBs in the NFL.
6. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
Matthew Stafford is getting old, and he's dealt with injuries over the last handful of years, but he's still an effective quarterback with a great coach and tremendous weapons. And the Rams have invested substantially in the offensive line lately, so Stafford should be well-protected. We saw as the 2023 season wore along the version of Stafford that led the Rams to a Super Bowl win in the 2021-22 season.
