Inexcusable. Unbelievable. Take your choice of the best word to describe Jordan Love's interception against the Detroit Lions.

Everything was supposed to be in the Green Bay Packers' favor this week. Rainy conditions help them against a Lions team that hasn't played outdoors all year. The refs gave Green Bay even more help by surprisingly ejecting Detroit's star safety Brian Branch from the game.

But the Packers can't get out of their own way, including Love.

Love threw the ball to the other team for a league-high 10th time this season, but this was easily his worst yet. With the Packers trailing the Lions by seven points and attempting to reduce the deficit to two before halftime, Love faced pressure and pretty much handed it off to Lions safety Kerby Joseph, who took it to the house to hand the Lions a 17-3 lead.

It was an ugly error from Love, and not for the first time this season.

Love can make any throw and comes up with unbelievable plays almost every week. Unfortunately, he is also good for one unfathomable mistake that hurts his team. Love made one of the worst plays of his career in front of the league's greatest-ever quarterback, and he wasn't impressed with the decision.

Tom Brady gives brutally honest review of Jordan Love's pick-six

Brady is in the booth with the FOX broadcast, and he didn't hold back in his assessment of Love's disastrous pick-six.

"You try to measure the aggressiveness you want. When you try to be too aggressive, it comes back and bites you in a bad way," said Brady.

"They trust Love to make the decisions, and that little pressure by Anzalone, and he just panics and throws a ball that you just should not throw," Brady added. "It's just better to throw it in the dirt, protect the team. The whole organization is depending on your decisions."

That final comment is particularly notable, but he's absolutely right. The Packers made Love (at the time) the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL for his ability to make game-winning plays. He continues to prove he can do that, but it's mixed in with far too many errors.

Throwing interceptions is one thing, but this is the second time Love has gifted the other team a touchdown, having made an equally poor decision on a pick-six against the Los Angeles Rams.

The performance certainly hasn't all fallen on Love's shoulders. His receivers keep dropping passes, and the Packers are again hurting themselves with pre-snap penalties.

But it ultimately comes down to Love to make plays when the Packers need them. He has done the opposite and may have gifted the Lions a victory.
