With the NFL Draft only a month away, the Green Bay Packers‘ draft board is taking shape.

Last week, we took a look at the top five inside linebacker prospects the Packers could target in the draft. Today, we’re going to take a look at how they can address the next biggest need on their roster–cornerback.

With the recent loss of Davon House and Tramon Williams, shoring up the defensive backfield has now become a major priority for Green Bay this offseason.

Even though Casey Hayward and Micah Hyde could play bigger roles in the secondary next season, the Packers still need more depth at the position and there’s no guarantee either Hayward or Hyde will flourish into full-time starters.

Fortunately for Green Bay, there will be plenty of talented cornerbacks available at the end of round one, and even if they decide to go another route with their first pick, the Packers could find a starting-caliber player in the second or third rounds to help out their secondary.

The following is a list of the top five cornerback prospects the Packers could target in the draft. I already took top corners Trae Waynes and Marcus Peters off the board because I believe they will be long gone by the time the Packers pick at the end of the first round.

However, there’s a good chance the following five prospects will be available for the Packers to select this spring.

Each one of them could contribute immediately to the defense and would be great finds in the early rounds of the draft.
