A game widely considered as the second Ice Bowl, this particular matchup was made popular more by the conditions than the actual game itself.

A 3:30 kickoff spurned concern over an upcoming windchill warning that was forecasted to possibly hit 50 degrees below zero.

That didn’t seem to bother the team from the West Coast as they outlasted the Packers and kicked a game-winning field goal as the clock wound out in the fourth quarter.

The Packers contained Colin Kaepernick for most of the game, but it was a late-game drive for the winning field goal that eventually sunk the Packers … and it was on Kaepernick’s legs that he kept the down markers moving until they got into field goal range.
