1. Clay still has it

It was a special night for Clay Matthews, who in addition to spearheading the pass rush with a sack and 2 QB hits, became the Packers all-time leading sacker with 75 in his illustrious career.

The ninth-year veteran has bounced back from his mostly dismal 2016 campaign in which he constantly played through debilitating shoulder and hamstring injuries.

Matthews made an early impact against the Bears by going around tight end Dion Sims and sacking Mike Glennon, who coughed up the football recovered by linebacker Jake Ryan.

The “Claymaker” wasn’t done wreaking havoc on Chicago’s front five by rushing the quarterback both off the edge and up the middle and nearly coming up with at least two more sacks.

Matthews also did his part in setting the edge against the run.

The 31-year-old is having a renaissance season and is looking more like the tone setter he was in year’s past.
