4. Jimmy Graham

With three rookies playing prominent roles in the pass game, Jimmy Graham will have to step up his contributions. Graham scored his first touchdown as a Packer last week and the team will need more of that and then some.

Graham has not had the seamless transition into the Packers offense a big money free agent is expected to have. It’s likely the Lions will focus much of their attention on stopping Graham and make the rookies beat them.

If Graham would like to show the NFL he is still the same guy he was in New Orleans, this is his chance. Graham’s height makes him a mismatch against almost anyone on the field. While his speed may be diminished, he still should have enough to beat the linebackers of the Lions.

Should they match up Graham with a defensive back, his height and wingspan will be what he needs to beat coverage.

A focus more on Graham could also be the remedy for what ails the Packers’ red zone woes. Getting Graham matched up one-on-one with anyone inside the 20 should be a win for the Packers.

The red zone might also be the time to use Marcedes Lewis more than they have.
