2. Offensive line

David Bakhtiari, Lane Taylor, Corey Linsley, Byron Bell and Bryan Bulaga did their job Sunday.

Yes, the Lions had four sacks and two strip sacks in the game. But those can be contributed more to Rodgers holding the ball too long and the receivers not getting open. The Lions never got a free rush or clean shot at Rodgers and made hustle plays for their sacks. Something that a coach is usually OK with.

In the run game it didn’t matter who was in there at running back, the line was making holes for players to run through. It’s a shame the Packers got behind so quickly.

If they were able to keep it closer early in the game, I felt the Packers could have easily topped their performance from last week on the ground, took control of the game and not allowed Matthew Stafford and his mates much time on the field.

As it was, the Packers fell behind and the running game was all but abandoned in order to catch up with the Lions.

When the Packers started their comeback attempt, the line gave Rodgers plenty of time to find an open receiver, they just weren’t getting open.
