17. New York Giants (via Cleveland): Dexter Lawrence, DL, Clemson

Dave Gettleman loves drafting guys that play in the trenches. Adding Dexter Lawrence here would fill a crucial need to improve the run defense. This will be one of the more interesting selections of the first round as the Giants roster has a lot of positions needing to be filled.

18. Minnesota Vikings: Devin Bush, LB, Michigan

The offensive line is a crucial need for the Vikings, but Rick Spielman tends to go best available player regardless of need. As a result, I can see them improving their front seven by adding the versatile Devin Bush here.

19. Tennessee Titans: Clelin Ferrell, EDGE, Clemson

Clelin Ferrell could be a top-10 pick, but I could also see him sliding to Tennessee here. The Titans would be wise to pair Ferrell up with a veteran mentor in Cameron Wake.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Deandre Baker, CB, Georgia

Baker was a key cog in the Georgia defense last year and Pittsburgh would be wise to add him here. Adding interior linebacking talent would be smart here as well as they have struggled to replace Ryan Shazier on the field.

21. Seattle Seahawks: Andre Dillard, OT, Washington State

The Seahawks hope to continue to run a power-running scheme, but they will need to improve their offensive line for their running unit to be truly successful.

This is why adding an offensive lineman like Andre Dillard could make a lot of sense here. I wouldn’t be surprised if John Schneider went for a defensive back, though, in an attempt to create the “Legion of Boom 2.0”

22. Baltimore Ravens: Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma

The Ravens need help in the receiving corps, and they could have a great pick of receiving talent here between “Hollywood” Brown, AJ Brown and Deebo Samuel. In the end, I believe Marquise Brown provides the greatest upside for this young Ravens team.

23. Houston Texans: Noah Fant, TE, Iowa

Having two tight ends go in the first round is rare in of itself, but two tight ends from the same school going in the first round seems near impossible.

Fortunately for tight end lovers out there, the Iowa duo of T.J. Hockenson and Noah Fant could break this trend.

The Texans need offensive line help, but adding a tight end that can also block like Fant would give Deshaun Watson support as both a blocker and as a receiver in complement to DeAndre Hopkins.

24. Oakland Raiders (via Chicago): Brian Burns, EDGE, Florida State

Brian Burns certainly has a chance to go higher then this, but there is also the chance he slides into the early-20s.

The Raiders would be wise to add an athletic talent like Burns here, who would almost certainly alleviate the loss of Khalil Mack.
