Week 16: Tennessee Titans

This is the toughest game left on the schedule for the Packers, who face the daunting challenge of trying to slow down a dominant Tennessee Titans rushing attack.

Tennessee is fifth in rushing yards per game entering Week 12. Derrick Henry currently leads the league with 1,079 rushing yards with nine touchdowns. The Packers defense is allowing 4.4 yards per carry this season and has been among the worst tackling teams in the league. If they can’t improve in this area, this game will be tough to win.

We know how the Titans will try to win this game. They are going to run the ball early and run the ball often, setting up play-action with a talented receiving group featuring A.J. Brown, Corey Davis, and tight end Jonnu Smith. Playing in eight games each this season, Brown and Davis have combined for 1,089 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.

The Packers’ game plan will be to build an early lead and force the Titans to abandon the run. The key will be finding success against Tennessee’s passing defense, which ranks No. 27 in the NFL entering Week 12.

This should be an interesting game but until the run defense improves, this could be a difficult one for the Packers to win.

Prediction: Titans 24, Packers 20 (11-4)
