Packers 2022 schedule release: Game-by-game, final record predictions

Week 8: at Buffalo Bills (Sunday Night Football)

A major test for the Packers. There might not be a better overall team than the Buffalo Bills entering the 2022 season.

Buffalo’s offense features star quarterback Josh Allen and a receiving corps of Stefon Diggs, Gabriel Davies, Jamison Crowder, and Dawson Knox.

Their defense includes star players like eight-time Pro Bowler Von Miller, and two-time All-Pro and former Packer Micah Hyde.

While the Packers have plenty of talent on offense, too, they probably don’t want this game to become a high-scoring contest. Green Bay will want to dictate the tempo, run the ball, and play well on defense.

Joe Barry’s defense has a ton of depth. This could be the Packers’ most talented defense in quite some time. However, this is a huge test. Not many defenses can stop the Bills’ offense at their best.

If both teams are on top of their game, this could be a candidate for game of the season. And, who knows, perhaps it will be a Super Bowl preview.

The Packers often step up and play well in these big games, but it will be a tough task to beat the Bills on the road. I predict we will see an entertaining game, but one Buffalo wins.
