Offensive line (9)

David Bakhtiari, Jon Runyan Jr., Josh Myers, Royce Newman, Yosh Nijman, Sean Rhyan, Zach Tom, Rasheed Walker, Cole Van Lanen

PUP list: Elgton Jenkins

Matt LaFleur will have a tough time determining which five offensive linemen should start in 2022 given the team’s quality depth. It should be much easier deciding the offensive linemen to include in the 53-man roster.

Elgton Jenkins is still recovering from a torn ACL, so it’s possible he starts on the PUP list, which would rule him out of the opening four games. That would open a spot at right tackle, with Yosh Nijman a strong candidate to step into a starting spot.

Defensive line (6)

Kenny Clark, Jarran Reed, Dean Lowry, Devonte Wyatt, TJ Slaton, Jonathan Ford

Green Bay could keep five or six defensive linemen.

The top five are all roster locks. Kenny Clark is a star player. Jarran Reed, Dean Lowry, and Devonte Wyatt will all be in contention for starting jobs. TJ Slaton is coming off a solid rookie season.

The Packers may only keep five, but Jonathan Ford could provide some value on special teams. That is an area Green Bay can’t afford to overlook this season.

That’s why I have them going with six defensive linemen.
