5. Defensive line

Projected starters: Kenny Clark, Jarran Reed, Dean Lowry

Backups: Devonte Wyatt, TJ Slaton, Jonathan Ford

You know the Packers have great depth here when their first-round pick is listed as a backup. In reality, Devonte Wyatt could be a starter.

This could be the most talented defensive line Green Bay has had in years.

If Wyatt lives up to expectations in year one, Jarran Reed plays at his best, and Dean Lowry can replicate last year’s performances, the defensive line will fly up these power rankings.

4. Inside linebacker

Projected starters: De’Vondre Campbell, Quay Walker

Backups: Krys Barnes, Ty Summers, Isaiah McDuffie

Inside linebacker is near the top of the Packers’ positional power rankings? Can you believe it?

Green Bay’s philosophy at inside linebacker has seemingly shifted. After an All-Pro season from De’Vondre Campbell, they rewarded him with a new five-year deal. They then selected Quay Walker 22nd overall in April’s draft.

Campbell was an All-Pro last season. Walker has All-Pro potential.

3. Running back

Projected starters: Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon

Backups: Kylin Hill, Tyler Goodson, Patrick Taylor

Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon can both start for the Packers. They each had over 1,000 yards from scrimmage a year ago and formed a dominant running back duo.

Green Bay also has good depth here. When healthy, Kylin Hill can be an excellent number three. Rookie Tyler Goodson is a player to watch at training camp, while Patrick Taylor played well in a backup role last season.
