Jaire Alexander has been there.

Less than a year ago, the Green Bay Packers surprisingly suspended Alexander ahead of a crucial game against the Minnesota Vikings they couldn't afford to lose. Last week, the Packers suspended wide receiver Romeo Doubs for one game.

While the reasoning for the two suspensions was different, the team said both were due to "conduct detrimental to the team."

Doubs is back. He addressed the media and is ready to move on, and so are the Packers. The former fourth-round pick continues to receive love and support from his teammates, which is great to see.

Jaire Alexander reveals what he said to Romeo Doubs following suspension

Alexander is a leader. He understands what it's like to get suspended by the Packers, and he reached out to his teammate to show his support.

Alexander said he wasn't pleased that Doubs' situation "was all out in the media" but added that he's "happy to have him back."

It's great to see so many teammates rallying around Doubs. The suspension is over with. Whatever happened is in the past, and they are ready to push on with Doubs back in the lineup. Christian Watson also sent love to Doubs on social media.

The Packers had no choice but to suspend Doubs after he failed to show up for practice, but hopefully, everyone can learn from it, especially when it comes to communication.

It's what makes Alexander's message such an important one. He has left the door open for Doubs to reach out whenever he needs anything. Jaire is proving his great leadership.

Alexander's status for Week 6 is unclear. He has missed the previous two games due to a groin injury and is questionable again this week. The All-Pro cornerback has been a limited participant at practice throughout the week, leaving his status up in the air. Even if he isn't quite ready to return, Alexander's leadership remains important, as he has proven with his message to Doubs.
